The St. Stephen's Choir
Our choir is under the direction of our Music Director, Michael Karoub. We sing every Sunday from the first part of September through Trinity Sunday (early June). In addition, we provide music for the special services for Holy days, including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter and Christmas Eve.
The group is very congenial, and we have a lot of fun learning old and new material. Some of us read music while others do not, and our choirmaster is very good at working with members of all experience levels. We welcome all who have the desire to sing, experienced or not.
Our usual practice time is on Wednesdays from 7:30 until 9:00 pm. We also meet on Sundays at 9 am to warm up and practice before the 10 am service. If you are unable to attend on Thursdays, you are welcome to join us for practice on Sundays instead. Practices occasionally vary with the season. You can check the calendar for these special times. Special Music Events
First Street Music Series
Our First Street Music Series features uplifting performances by regional and nationally known artists in a variety of traditions, from classical to jazz to folk and blues. Admission to the First Street Music Series is free but donations are gratefully appreciated, and make this series possible. Children are welcome to attend all performances. Performances are followed by complimentary refreshments and fellowship in our Parish Hall.
