In the spirit of turning 150 years old, we have set a goal to make 150 pillowcase dresses for little girls in Haiti. We need donations and crafty people to sew the dresses.
If you do not sew but would still like to help, we need donations of money or materials: pillowcases (new or gently used), elastic, and double-fold bias tape (1/2-inch tape works best).
If you would like to sew a dress, please contact us for instructions. Many of us are sewing these dresses at home, but we also meet periodically in the Upper Room for "sew-a-thons". Please email us for more information.
