St. Stephen's

If you are in the neighborhood, please join us for weekend worship. We offer Holy Eucharist each Sunday at 8 and 10 am. The 8:00 service is quiet and simple. The 10:00 service includes hymns, and nursery services are available. From September through May, the 10:00 service also has special music, choir and Children's Chapel. On the last Sunday of the month, June through August, the 10:00 service is held outdoors at Bishop Park, located along the beautiful Detroit River.

From September through May, we offer the Rite of Healing on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

In the spirit of turning 150 years old, we have set a goal to make 150 pillowcase dresses for little girls in Haiti.  We need donations and crafty people to sew the dresses. 

If you do not sew but would still like to help, we need donations of money or materials:  pillowcases (new or gently used), elastic, and double-fold bias tape (1/2-inch tape works best). 

If you would like to sew a dress, please contact us for instructions.  Many of us are sewing these dresses at home, but we also meet periodically in the Upper Room for "sew-a-thons".  Please email us for more information.
